Annual Pro Bono Class Competition
The 2015-2016 winner of the Annual Pro Bono Class Competition is the 3Ls! The class of 2016 had a dominating lead with more than 2,122 logged pro bono hours.
The Annual Pro Bono Class Competition totals the hours of each class–1Ls, 2Ls, and 3Ls–helped their community. While many students, especially 1Ls, worry that they are not legally trained enough to help those in the WFU and Winston-Salem community, there are a broad range of opportunities to get involved and help serve the local community. Those opportunities are focussed on us providing information and resources, not any actual legal advice, and so we are all perfectly trained for them!
The Pro Bono Class Competition counts hours from both fall and spring semesters. So get involved when you can to help those around us! Or at the very least, to prove your class is one of winners!
