This project focuses on helping people convicted of misdemeanors and felonies get convictions expunged from their records. Students meet directly with the clients, instructing them on eligibility and helping them fill out the appropriate forms to start the expungement process.

Training takes place at the law school and lasts an hour.

Expungement events take place at Legal Aid in downtown Winston once or twice a semester. Each appointment lasts thirty minutes.

Learn how to interact with clients, explain legal concepts, and complete legal documentation.
