    • Students will have the opportunity to assist clients with many different types of cases, while operating on the student’s schedule. Students will make phone calls to clients to ascertain the legal problem, discover all of the facts surrounding the situation, advise clients of their rights and options, and tell the client how to best solve their legal problem.
    • Types of cases that students will be able to assist with:
      • Custody (Modifications, 3rd Party, Defensive)
      • Consumer (Small Claims, Collections, Contracts / Warranties)
      • Private Landlord / Tenant (Evictions, Security Deposits, Failure to Repair)
      • Employment (Wrongful Termination Claim, Discrimination Claim, Wage Claim, and on rare occasions Pensions / Benefits)
      • Estates (Estate Administration, POA, Wills)
      • SSDI & SSI (Denials, Appeals, Termination, Reduction, Overpayment)
      • Bankruptcy
      • Real Property Disputes (Deeds and Boundary Disputes)
      • Guardianship
      • Medicaid (Denials, Appeals, Termination, Reduction, Overpayment)
      • Public / Subsidized Housing (Evictions, Security Deposits, Failure to Repair)
      • Taxes (Only when Adverse Party is the IRS or DOR)
      • Education (School Discipline, Special Education, Student Loans)
      • Expunction & Certificate of Relief
      • Health Care (COBRA, Private Insurance Claims, Nursing Homes)
      • Mortgage Foreclosure
