Organization Sponsored Group Projects

Student Organizations and outside organizations like Legal Aid often sponsor certain pro bono projects which Wake Law students can participate in.  These projects could be long-term ongoing projects or short-term or day-long projects.  Student Organizations which adopt a particular project associated with their area of interest can use such projects to expose students to that area of the law and to give their organizations greater purpose.  For example, the Youth Advocacy Group sponsors participation in Teen Court.  Student Organizations can also participate in Community Informational Projects by conducting research in their area of interest with a faculty adviser and then presenting that information to members of the community affected by that issue.  Outside organizations, like Legal Aid of North Carolina, the N.C. Bar Association, and the N.C. Courts provide numerous opportunities for students to participate in group projects.
