Spring break, winter break, and fall break may present students with the opportunity to participate in a Special Trip Project.  In recent years, students have traveled to New Orleans, LA to provide residents with legal assistance related to post-Hurricane Katrina damage and to Miami, FL to assist Haitian refugees with applying for temporary protected immigration status in the aftermath of the 2009 Haitian Earthquake.  The Pro Bono Projects’ Special Trips Coordinators will continue to look for opportunities to help deliver urgent legal assistance to those in need during times of crisis.
